A prestigious international financial institution with offices globally. The company is expanding a large-scale, multi-year digital transformation, modernizing its IT landscape with a focus on cloud technologies, automation, and engineering excellence. Their technology stack includes Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, microservices, SQL Server, Java, etc. Together, we are looking to expand their team with a new member for the position of:

SENIOR BACK-END DEVELOPER WITH JAVA SPRING BOOT

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a modern, cloud-native engineering environment, where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the company's platforms and software solutions. You will play a critical role in designing and developing the company's infrastructure and software solutions within your value stream.

Some of your responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and testing of high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Responsible for code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices for Java development.

Required knowledge, qualifications, and experience:

- 4+ years of professional experience with Java (Java 17 or newer) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
- Experience in developing and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Excellent knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Working experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native application development.
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems like ActiveMQ or Azure Service Bus.
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Experience in deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Very good command of English (B2/C1 level).
