On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently looking for a HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER to join the company.
Responsibility
Prepare periodical department budget & forecast, manage all operational costs within budgets;
Monitor and control inventories for operating equipment including linen, guest collateral, amenities and glassware;
Prepare and analyse monthly P&L and month-end reports, identify deviation from business plan goals;
Compile and update Standard Operating Procedures for all areas of responsibility periodically;
Conduct quality control inspections of all areas of the hotel & casino and share results with the team;
Conduct monthly Staff Meetings and daily briefings with Operational Managers;
Manage all outside contractors relating to his/her department ensuring that they follow all hotel policies;
Oversee operations of Laundry and Linen, Flower and Decoration, and Butler Service;
Interview, select and recruit Housekeeping employees;
Prepare weekly staff schedules keeping in mind anticipated business, operating budgets and standards of service;
Prepare staff scheduling reports for payroll;
Manage linen replacement organization and cleanliness of staff houses;
Conducts and supervises effective inspection program for all guestrooms, restaurants, bars, casino, Spa and public space;
Cooperate with Engineering department to keep all Housekeeping & Laundry equipment well-maintained.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Previous experience in such a position
Experience in managing people;
Mandatory relocation;
English language at a working level;
