Purpose of the position

The role is part of the Corporate Control team and focuses mainly on controlling for Information Management (IM) Services. IM Services is part of Corporate IM and provides all the applications and solutions that are used globally at Cargotec (over 100 services). They recharge the costs monthly to all service users.
In this position, you are responsible for management accounting, monthly reporting, monthly estimates and annual plan for IM Services costs as well as recharges.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Provide overall financial support to our internal customers in IM Services
- Review and analyse monthly actual costs of IM Services to ensure the figures are accurate and that there is no big unexplained difference to the forecast. You will coordinate with CBS for RTR related issues
- Prepare the monthly reporting package on IM services
- Update the monthly forecast in GCP (Global Cost Planning tool)
- Participate in monthly on-line reviews with Service Managers in India to ensure that they understand their cost base and that their forecast is up-to-date
- Provide guidance to Service Managers on purchase invoices booked in SAP (periodisation, accruals, etc.) as well as on recharging related issues
- Ensure the monthly IM Service recharge to all Cargotec entities is accurate. The transactional work is done mostly by the CBS RTR team in the ServiceNow tools but you will coordinate the process between Service Managers and RTR.
- Coordinate the yearly planning preparation in IM Services to make sure that costs are accurately forecasted and that the new recharge prices are updated as needed
- Be the admin owner of CSC Adaptive (cost forecasting tool used only monthly in IM services, similar to GCP).
- Participate in the development of the monthly reporting package, together with the Business Controller Corporate Functions, in order to better answer the needs from the IM Services Director and IM SBU heads.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education:

- Master’s degree in Finance (Economics, Business Administration)

Experience:

- Over 5 years of finance experience


Competencies:

- Strong analytical skills with willingness to dig into the details in SAP
- Proactive, able to coordinate tasks or processes and propose improvements
- Customer service approach and ability to summarize the results in a clear fashion to business and finance stakeholders
- Good communication skills. Full professional proficiency in English, spoken and written
- Very good excel/sheet skills.
- Interest in IT tools is a plus, as this role requires to master several tools and provide occasional training to users

- Corporate IM, especially IM Services team members in Europe and India
- Corporate finance, mainly Corporate Control team
- CBS RTR team
- CBS IM Solutions owners for GCP (Global Cost Planning)
- Occasionally Local SBU Finance or SBU IM for recharging topics.
