to lead their operations in Bulgaria

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a high-impact leadership position designed for a senior professional with strong expertise in customs operations, regulatory frameworks, and long-term strategy execution. As the Head of the Customs Department, you will drive operational excellence, ensure strict adherence to Group standards and local legislation, and lead a dedicated team of experts in a dynamic, international environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership: Drive the long-term vision, strategy, and daily operational management of the Customs Declaration Department.
Compliance & Governance: Safeguard strict adherence to local customs legislation, international trade regulations, and internal Group governance standards.
Methodological Guidance: Provide expert leadership, standardization, and coordination of customs activities across various business units.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for customs authorities, regulatory bodies, external partners, and internal executive stakeholders.
Process Optimization: Continuously develop, harmonize, and optimize customs workflows by implementing modern Group tools, digitalization.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of customs professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4-5 years of progressive leadership experience in customs, trade compliance, or international logistics within a multinational or complex corporate environment.
Deep, practical knowledge of local and EU customs legislation, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams; strong hands-on problem-solving skills combined with strategic vision.
Proficiency in modern ERP software, customs declaration tools, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Fluent English
