(Junior) Sustainable Finance Expert, Sofia

General duties:
Establish new processes related to Climate and Environmental Risk management, by working across department
Collect, analyze, visualize, and communicate large amounts of data related to sustainability metrics
Contribute to credit proposals with climate and environmental risk related analyses for various industries and types of financing.
Collaborate and instruct Relationship Managers on how to assess ESG impact and regulatory requirements, including information undertakings from clients and business assessment (transition plans)
Assist Relationship Managers with reviewing ESG questionnaires attached to credit proposals, as well as the proper filling of EU/CBI Taxonomy questionnaires
Assist Relationship Managers with identification, reporting, and monitoring of green loans
Conduct due diligence, reporting, monitoring, and coordination according to the OTP Group Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
Work with all other respective departments, subsidiaries, partners, and stakeholders, coordinating climate change actions and environmental projects – including implementation of all group-wide policies and reporting duties related to the corporate green portfolio

Requirements:
Excellent proficiency in English
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, and/or Mathematics
Experience with ESG, Climate Related & Environmental, and Sustainability policies (experience is an advantage)
Proactive approach and personality
Strong communication and presentation skills
Customer orientation
Analytical skills and being able to “translate” ESG terms into understandable for a broader audience language
This role is suitable for a junior or a more experienced candidate
