Position Title: Compensation Analyst
This role is to provide critical support to the HR teams across EMEA & APAC and the business on all Compensation policies and procedures. Assist the Reward & Workforce Analytics Director, EMEA & APAC to recommend and implement best practice compensation programs and initiatives. Provide compensation advice and consultation, analysis and support to our EMEA & APAC markets, as well as provide support on major compensation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in regional compensation and benefits practices. He/she should be hands on, accountable and would know how to navigate in an environment where things may not always be fully defined but where he/she will own the journey to get it there. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate capability in driving various compensation processes (including year-end), compensation analysis and modelling, as well as continuous process improvement. This role reports directly into the Reward & Workforce Analytics Director, EMEA & APAC.

What you’ll be doing?
Assist with the annual year-end review process including merit review, bonus and LTIP grant process (this includes preparations for the process including pay range development, bonus modelling, etc.)
Conduct job evaluations using the Mercer IPE methodology
Support the HR team and business by providing market benchmarking details across all functions and markets, as required
Assist on ad hoc projects including regular pay analysis, review of internal pay ranges, benefits review and career pathways across the EMEA & APAC region
Assist with submissions to the Regional Reward Committee and ensure the appropriate governance process is adhered to at all times
Assist with regular compensation reporting and analysis (based on regional and global requests)
Complete salary survey submissions for selected EMEA & APAC countries, including analysis of survey results and the potential impact on Experian
Assist with M&A activities including the integration and alignment of compensation frameworks and procedures for acquired businesses, as required
Provide advice to the Country HR teams in regards to internal promotions and transfers including relocations, as required
Maintaining excellent relationship with partners, internal & external, to ensure ongoing co-operation and smooth operations day-to-day
Ensure overall data quality, including compensation data integrity in Oracle HRIS is maintained by flagging any data issues to the relevant teams
Assist the Reward & Workforce Analytics Director, EMEA & APAC in successfully communicating total rewards elements across the business, as required
Continuously monitor and identify areas for process improvement.

What you’ll bring?
3-5 years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits in a complex business environment
Demonstrated examples of being a key advisor on all compensation matters and be a thought partner, with skills in planting ideas, challenging, provoking and inciting action
Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding on how reward can impact the business positively
Self-starter, who is willing to take initiatives and able to work on multiple and tight deadlines
Demonstrates outstanding teamwork, proactively developing colleagues, caring about our reputation and always assuming positive intent
Is credible and confident, displaying great energy, passion and drive in everything they do, good levels of emotional intelligence and common sense
Ability to problem solve - identify, define and have the resilience to drive a good outcome
Advanced knowledge and ability with various Microsoft suites e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams
Outstanding attention to detail and customer service skills
Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills
M&A experience would be beneficial
Experience with Oracle and/or SuccessFactors would be valuable.
