For one of our clients, a leading European FinTech Group, we are looking for ambitious and motivated person to join their team as:

Head of Legal Collection Department

Main responsibilities:
Create and manage processes, systems, workflows and a framework for the activities of the Legal Collection Department, according to the company’s internal procedures;
Provide strategical high quality and result oriented legal advice on all significant actual or potential legal issues, related to debt collection;
Supervise and monitor the cases of the internal legal team, as well as managing a caseload of complex legal cases and provide regular feedback;
Support, inspire, energise and develop colleagues and build a good team spirit across the group;
Keep informed of any legislative changes that may impact the business and share the same across the Legal Collection Department;
Deliver regular legal trainings and knowledge sharing initiatives to the Legal Collection Department, related to debt collection and any other areas of law where required;
Prepare monthly debt collection reports and provide information, regarding the court case status, upon request;
Establish reliable interconnections and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels;

Requirements to fill the role:
University degree and valid license to practice law;
2 years of experience at a law firm or within an in-house legal department of a bank or financial institution;
Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
Analytical ability and strong attention to details;
Experience in digital law and online crediting will be considered as an advantage
Good computer skills – MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
