Position Purpose & Summary:

The Transportation Data Maintenance Specialist will work as a main driver of the correct system life cycle of all arranged transports. You will have to make sure all contracted rates and conditions are properly translated into the ERP, allowing for - Shipment Execution teams to perform their deliveries, Freight Audit Payment to follow-up on the payment, the Business Units to have correct budgeting data and the Sales/contract management to create customer contracts with accurate freight included.
* This position is a maternity cover for at least 2 years with an option to be extended.

Principal Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for thorough analysis and crosschecks of Transport Tender files (excel, ERP – JDE AForce, SAP, LEAP).
You will have to prepare tender templates for upload (according to the relevant Mode of Transport Requirements – Bulk Liquid/Powder, Packed FTL/LTL/Reefer, Container).
You will be gathering and archiving all carriers freight rate quotations and will be deciding the carrier award status/nomination on low-volume new business lanes.
You will be responsible for keeping clear data record and for setting up and updating Sales pricing tables and Transport routings.
You will be sending out quotation requests to carriers for lanes not included in the relevant Transport Tender.
You will be providing freight rate indications to the Sales Organization for the purpose of contract offers.
You will work with all involved stakeholders and Global IT to ensure correct system data.
You will be responsible for cost saving set-ups’ negotiations (where applicable).

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor`s degree in the field of Transportation, Finance or System Administration.
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation or Finance.
Preferably experience in Logistics AND Finance.
Fluency in English, second main European language will be a plus.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and/or Oracle) will be an advantage.
Very good command of MS Excel.
Good team player with the ability to work under pressure.
Accurate and with eye for details.
