Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance network. It performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737 including B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008. In connection with development of our processes and company and network growth we are now looking for new employees for Lufthansa Technik Sofia.

Central IT operations specialist

As Central IT operations specialist you will:
- Provide 2nd / 3rd level support for IT Services within a multicultural and international team
- Take care for Incident / Change / Problem solution and coordination between Lufthansa Technik facilities and Service Provider(s)
- Manage service requests and inquiries
- Support IT projects and change management activities
- Timely elevate and/or escalate to next level/service provider complex problems
- Coordinate maintenance downtimes of basic infrastructure components
- Preparation and update of documentation

To be successful in the role you need:
- University or college degree in Computer science or similar experience
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Technologies as : Server 2008/2012; Active directory management; DFS; Windows Client OS
- To be strong team player
- Excellent English language skills
- Experience with advanced IT troubleshooting, Windows Server and related enterprise services
- Very good analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Previous experience working in managed environment
- Basic knowledge in networking
- ITIL v3 Foundation or higher certification is preferred
- Ability to operate in high-demand emergency situations
- Customer and service oriented behavior
