Customer Support Specialist
Lufthansa Technik is the world’s leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services with more than 50 years’ experience. Lufthansa Technik Sofia performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737. It is also Global Center for supplying state-of-the-art solutions in Material and Purchasing. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

In 2014, a new department – Lufthansa Service Center Sofia (LSCS) - was opened with the purpose of providing purchasing services exclusively to Lufthansa Technik AG. Since then, LSCS has proven to be a valuable partner and is continually entrusted more purchasing activities.

In connection with our growth, we are now looking for dynamic and motivated people who would join our team in the position of Customer Support Specialist.

Main roles:

Ensure consistent, cost effective and high quality material supply to our customer base
Handle C&E (consumables and expendables) materials demands of Lufthansa Technik workshops and customers
Monitor and coordinate supply processes of C&E materials to customers using ERP and LHT own systems
Make suggestions for optimization and standardization with focus on customer needs and satisfaction.

Essential responsibilities:

Worldwide sourcing and purchasing of aircraft materials
Tracking, monitoring and clarification of purchase orders
Responsible for material supply related clarifications
Provide feedback and status to customers on a daily bases via LHT own systems
Monitor and update inventory movement through daily and weekly reports
Monitor inventory discrepancies
Liaise with material and logistics organizations on a daily base in English language
Interact on a professional basis with all internal and external customers
Assist with projects / reports if necessary


University degree (technical or business administration degree would be considered an advantage)
Customer services experience would be considered an advantage
Fluency in English (both written and spoken). German would be considered an advantage
Advanced knowledge in Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint and ERP systems would be considered an advantage.
