The Technical Manager will play an integral role in the success of the Enterprise Technical Support team. This position requires the candidate to be able to think strategically and act at a tactical level to drive results. Specifically, s/he will be responsible for:

• Managing and directing the work of the Technical Support Team Leaders by reviewing outstanding customer issues on a regular basis to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality are delivered on a timely basis
• Developing and executing strategy for Technical Support operations including CRM processes, telephony and other supporting technologies
• Proactively manage and communicate with the Technical Support Team to ensure a high level of Customer Satisfaction
• Ensuring plans are in place to support new product releases
• Analyzing workload of the Technical Support Team and implementing improvements. Continually enabling the enhancement of the team’s skills around client/customer satisfaction and troubleshooting
• Work with recruiting to interview and onboard new hires
• Managing timekeeping, vacations, PTO, and other HR related duties
• Act as first escalation point for employee engagement issues
• Must have strong communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences
• Strong leadership skills are essential to drive performance improvements and change throughout the organization.

Our most successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Discipline
• Advanced Technical Experience desirable
• Previous experience managing technical support organizations
• Managerial experience providing customer services for Enterprise software solutions
• Solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technology issues (operating systems, software, storage, configurations)
• Outstanding people development skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple resources in a dynamic environment
• Excellent customer facing skills
