We are currently are currently looking for a Customer Data Maintenance Team Lead to join our growing team!

Role Summary:

The Enterprise Master Data Management team is responsible for governing, coordinating and maintaining critical master data and other data related to customers, products, vendors, chart of accounts and additional key data elements across Experian's enterprise systems, as well as managing the quality and integrity of the content of the Enterprise Corporate Data Lake as the foundation for world-class business intelligence, analysis, insights, and reporting. Our team members are spread out between Chile, Malaysia, UK, and the US.

An exciting opportunity has risen to join the Client team dedicated to ensuring our client master data across the different systems is comprehensive, current and of the highest data quality, while driving standardization across the regions and looking for ways to increase efficiency into the organization's data accessibility. In this role you will be the link between various finance support departments from Accounts Receivable, Collections and Cash Application. Responsible for managing all customer information held in our Oracle EBS system, you will be pivotal in ensuring the correct procedure is always followed.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Customer Data Maintenance Team Lead, you will liaise with different finance teams to ensure that correct billing information and legal entity is held, managing customer information by checking amendments, setting up and maintaining data and detecting inconsistencies, keeping duplicate accounts to a minimum, highlighting any missing information and assisting with further actions. It will be your responsibility to handle inbound enquiries and assign to relevant team members where necessary, ensuring that correct procedure is followed at all stages and in a timely manner, you will set, agree, and monitor Service Level Agreements with the finance teams and key contacts, coaching and managing a small team to comply with performance targets. You will help co-ordinate training, testing and changes, will consistently check the processes to suggest and implement improvements where necessary and will manage assigned internal projects.

Your role is critical to perform data curation activities, key to transforming and validating data that can be made “Tableau ready” for business insights and reporting.
You will help EMDM team harmonize and regulate how people, processes and technology interact within our data ecosystem and facilitate this data connectivity.


More about you:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
MS Office – Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Previous experience in O2C processes and/or knowledge of Oracle Accounts Receivable module is a plus.
Confidence in dealing with month-end issues and work under pressure.
Excellent relationship building, integrity and teamwork.
Strong attention to detail with ability to research and resolve complex problems.
Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in the related field.
Ability to learn quickly and think logically.
Leadership skills and ability to teach and mentor.
Strong communication skills and efficiently communicates in English written and spoken.
Strong organizational skills and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
Highly motivated, self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working virtually full time.
