Product owner - София

General duties:
• Serves as the voice of the client
• Responsible for the digital product development: own, develop and execute the vision and the roadmap of the product
• Partners with and maintains close communication with stakeholders and customers across the organization to improve the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization and keep them aligned with reality
• Responsible for well written user stories that comply with the INVEST principle and the Definition that guide the development team according to business value or ROI
• Owns, maintains and prioritize the product backlog
• Helps the development team with the refinement and estimation of user stories during Refinement
• Proposes a list of user stories (that comply with the Definition of Ready) to be taken into the new sprint during Planning
• Proposes and negotiates a feasible Definition of Done with the development team that ensures the quality of the product
• Solve product related problems, make decisions on the “how”, weight the tradeoffs, ensuring the delivery towards business commitments; take decisions on user story level
• Track and measure the impact of the product changes and improvements
• Evaluate the completion of user stories according to the criteria in the Definition of Done

Requirements:
• Ability to demonstrate practical examples of how to utilize technology to achieve and improve business results
• Previous product experience (e.g. engineering, technology, UX, etc.)
• Cares for customers, has a good business sense but also a technical foundation
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, estimation, Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
• Making decisions based on reality and evidence rather than “Fantasy Land”
• Strong leader, collaborator, team player
• Solid communication skills with comfort in speaking with senior leaders; excellent communication skills to negotiate with stakeholders and team, having the ability to convince
• Demonstration of ability to think both strategically and tactically
• High-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
• Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
• Experience in banking, finance, insurance fields is preferred
• Previous experience as a Product Owner would be a plus
