Purpose of the position

Position will be part of Kalmar Mobile Solutions headquarter controlling team. In this position, you will see everything that is happening in the Kalmar group and also be in contact with our Cargotec corporate stakeholders on a daily basis, i.e. Cаrgotec Business Services (CBS) organization.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Your main responsibilities will be to assist, check accounting from our entities and support monthly reporting, analyses and follow-ups of financial results and key figures of the Kalmar Mobile Solutions. - - You will be also supporting Sales&Markets VP of finance in finance tasks.
- You will be answering questions from our organization and helping them with forecasting and planning processes. In this position you will learn a lot from management reporting and corporate accounting.
- You will have our team support to complete given assignments and projects.
- Position owner has to be proactive to contact people all over Cargotec organisation, when solving questions.

Also, in Kalmar Mobile Finance, we like to develop processes, reports and ways of working, so you have a keen interest to be part of development projects and raise your ideas and opinions for the rest of the team.

What you’ll need to succeed:


- You have understanding or experience of reporting and accounting. It would be optimal if you have also some experience from work within controlling, management consulting, group-level accounting or similar.
- You like to take responsibility for your work, meet deadlines, and strive for high-quality deliveries.
- You are interested in the business environment our group companies operate in.
- You take interest in what is happening in the team around you and come with suggestions on how to make smart improvements in the way we work and what we prioritize as well as an ability to improve your own work based on such feedback.
- You have an academic education, preferably within the financial area (MSc in Econ., MBA or similar) and communicate fluently in English.
