Position Management Coordinator

Position Purpose & Summary
This position will be main point of contact for managers, employees and HR professionals requesting services related to position management or PDS creation. The position is responsible to coordinate and/or consult with other teams and colleagues, e.g. Compensation, Market HR, PDS Specialists until the completion of the service requests, keep the clients informed about the progress of the requests and provide them with a final resolution.

The support provided is for position management request that may include new ID creation, updates, duplications and other enqueries about position attribute updates.

Principal Accountabilities

Case management – 15%

Act as a main point of contact for the client regarding a request
Review daily all service requests assigned to them and update the necessary information
Inform the clients on a regular basis about the progress made on their requests;
Clarifies with the client the request assigned to them and take the appropriate actions to move the case towards resolution
Verifies the information provided by the clients using the systems available to them (MyHR, Taleo)

Position management – 50 %

Collect the necessary information to create new positions working with clients and where needed with other HR professionals
Consult the managers across the region and guide them how to build a new PDS, under the guidance where needed of the PDS specialist
Set up of new positions
Update where required the attributes of the positions
Employ general knowledge of the Global Job Catalogue (GJC), the GJC codes, cost centers and legal entities structure to complete the service requests
Understand and apply Cargill’s promotion practices and policies across the region and resolving various customer requests
Send and save final PDS in repository

Relationship management – 10%

Work directly with managers to gain trust through effective communication and listening skills.
Collaborate with various HR partners – Recruitment, Employee Experience/ HR Ops Leads, Compensation to verify different processes, information or fulfil a customer’s request

Compliance – 10%

Ensure data accuracy by following appropriate governance and discretion when handling requests
Ensure managers understand subsequent steps in the process (mapping to the GJC/band) prior to posting.

Research, analyses, tools and systems – 10%

Have solid knowledge of MyHR, Remedy Force, Taleo and other HR systems employed in the everyday work
Keep all Remedy Force service requests up to date – leave accurate notes, attach any additional information provided, i.e. all actions should be reflected in the request history
Create new draft job postings in Taleo upon manager’s request. Coordinate with the Recruitment team on urgent cases
Create/modify positions in MyHR Info (EC); includes position changes after posting for regional positions
Participate and voice ideas, related to process improvements

5% Other

Performs other tasks as requested by the direct manager or a senior team member. Act as a Quality Assurance upon supervisor’s appeal by reviewing number of incidents and evaluate them following specific criteria.


Minimum Required Qualifications

University degree
Fluency in English
2-3 years of previous professional experience as a minimum
Effective communication skills and customer focus
Demonstrated willingness and ability to partner, build, and sustain positive working relationships
Able to perform successfully in ambiguous environment work under pressure and with changing priorities
Attention to details

Preferred Qualifications

HR experience is an advantage, but not a must
Working knowledge of Cargill’s Global Job Catalog
Experience consulting with some stakeholder groups (i.e. Business HR, Managers/Employees)
