We are currently looking for Head of Product Ownership to join our Experian Software Solutions Organization, who will be responsible for the care of the totality of the product(s), including not only features, but non-functional behavior, quality, and technical debt and for building effective relationships with senior management and stakeholders, in different countries, time zones and cultures.

Job Description

You're probably wondering what you'll be doing:

· Working through requirements in an agile manner, considering fitness of purpose, adherence to business objectives, compliance, and product vision, challenging positively where appropriate.
· Responsible for the acceptance of those requirements by Software Engineering teams for execution.
· Responsible to learn the product(s), hands-on, to ensure proper understanding of context, features and functions, and to share knowledge with the team and other stakeholders, in both formal and informal sessions.
· From time to time prepares business cases which define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes, and associated business risks.
· Responsible for setting priorities and developing plans in collaboration with key stakeholders against planned objectives, in consideration of constraints, dependencies and competing interests, and ensuring that the product needs and vision are maintained.
· Line management of multiple Product Owners across multiple Agile teams in different product areas, countries, and time zones.
· Ensures team members understand the importance of adhering to their regulatory obligations and responsibility for implementation of company policies and procedures.
· Ensure team members understand the operating model and the functional and individual responsibilities


We look for you to bring:

· Excellent requirements gathering and analysis skills
· Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes and translate that understanding into technical requirements
· Experience, strong understanding, and application of Agile at Scale practices such as LeSS, SaFE, as well as one or more of the primary Agile methodologies (Scrum/KanBan/XP etc).
· Programme and Project Management competencies including stakeholder management, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
· Strong understanding and application of change management competencies
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
· Experience working in a Software / Technology Product context, possessing strong technical expertise and the ability to confidently work with customers and other stakeholders to establish story acceptance criteria.
