Senior Linux Systems Administrator (Cyber Systems)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Linux Administrator to join our team. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our Virtuozzo Hybrid infrastructure and Kubernetes cluster, which supports the business-critical application CloudBlue Commerce. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science or information technology, with expertise in Linux systems administration and a solid understanding of virtualization technologies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Maintain Virtuozzo Hybrid infrastructure and Kubernetes cluster, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
Perform system backups and implement disaster recovery plans
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and mitigate issues
Conduct capacity planning and provide recommendations for system upgrades
Develop and maintain shell and Python scripts for automating administrative tasks
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator, with experience in managing Kubernetes clusters
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL
Proficiency in shell and Python scripting for automation and task management
Experience with distaste recovery planning and execution
Working knowledge of Zabbix and Prometheus monitoring tools
Fluent in English, with good written and verbal communication skills
DESIRED

Experience with PostgreSQL database administration
Familiarity with CloudBlue Commerce system
