IT Helpdesk Specialist

As the IT Helpdesk Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in supporting our employees all over the world and across every department, helping to ensure our rapidly growing employee base has everything they need to successfully do their job. You will onboard new hires and support existing employees with hardware and software that they use on a daily basis, responding quickly and efficiently to help troubleshoot and resolve any IT related issues.

Helpdesk support (1st and 2nd level)
Software, hardware and basic networking configuration and troubleshooting
VoIP phone provisioning, telephony
Prioritize and schedule requests and/or escalate issues (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician
Record, track, and document main processes in office such as help sheets, FAQs and How-To’s: work with services, hardware changes, full documentation of critical production services)
Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution
Help mana local Inventory (asset management with proper documenting) - keep software and hardware up to date, license clearance
Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals
Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved as well as perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests


3+ years of experience working in a Helpdesk environment
Experience with the administration of workstations and server
Knowledge of basic computer hardware
Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office products
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Highly self-motivated and directed
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Business-level English skills to interact with employees and teams all over the world
