Business Support Analyst (2 years contract)

Position Title: Business Support Analyst (2 years contract)

We are currently looking for a Business Support Analyst who will join our Business Support Optimization Team which provides 2nd line business related product support to clients using the Experian Core DA product set. Work will include dealing with live product configuration incidents (investigate & fix), system enhancements (requirements definition and implementation) and system optimizations.

Responsibilities:
REQUIREMENTS GATHERING & ANALYSIS

Carry out the extraction, formulation and manipulation of data to address business requirement.
Interpretation of analysis results.
Works as part of the team to understand the client’s requirements.
SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION

Configure Core DA software according to specifications under guidance of Solutions / Senior Solutions analyst where appropriate
Test software against specification to ensure the product operates as specified, and amend where appropriate.
SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE

Identify causes of software problems (at product or data level).
Solve problems which arise in the system collaborating with technical support if appropriate.
MANAGING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

Attend, support and contribute to client meetings, including presenting results, conclusions and recommendations in both written and verbal form.
Work with client personnel and/or other departments/divisions within Experian to interpret requirements and data and resolve product-related queries.
Requirements:
Experience of working in a customer focused business / technical support function is desirable
Ability to understand and troubleshoot web services environments
Highly motivated; consistently takes initiative; demonstrated ability to work independently with no supervision
Flexibility to travel in line with business needs
Need to be able to look at issues from a business perspective and then translate this into the technical application log
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
Results driven and goal oriented
Strong problem solving skills
To be logically minded and to enjoy problem solving
Excellent verbal and written English
Additional language (Italian, Turkish, French, Polish) will be considered as great advantage
