ANALYTICS ENGINEER
Job Summary
The Analytics Engineer will focus on enabling management information, business intelligence and analytics competencies with the primary purpose to reduce time to insights. In this role, you will be investing in the core capabilities of data management, data engineering and information products enabling decision support to ensure timely, accurate and actionable insights to our teams. You will be a key partner between business needs and data engineering, delivering the final information product including building dashboards that enable business value.

Key Accountabilities
Deliver sustainable, effective, and efficient reporting and analytical solutions through gathering requirements, creating user stories, resolve solutions gaps, architecting and modelling dashboards and building standardized data visualization models.
Support and enable management information and business intelligence strategy by effectively managing data and data engineering and financial analytics. It covers financial and non-financial (supply chain and operations, manufacturing, enterprise product portfolio) data.
Enable business insights by gathering functional requirements and develop user stories working directly with business stakeholders – product owners and analytics leads.
Build and standardize data visualization across teams to enable consistency and quality control of key business data.
Architect and model dashboards and user interactions based on business requirements.
Participate in business intelligence reporting, governance, and process improvement by supporting a culture of knowledge sharing and maintaining standards and documentation.
Identify areas requiring additional training and work with end users to resolve issues.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology, Data Management or relevant
Proven experience with data analytics tools and applications – Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Alteryx, SSAS
Strong understanding of business value creation by leveraging disparate data sourcing and enabling business decisions
Logical data management affinity experience
Confirmed experience implementing data, business intelligence and analytics solutions
Minimum of two years of working within development and implementation phase across various BI projects

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in information or computer science
Proven experience with multiple businesses or international business experience
