What will be your responsibilities?

•Install, work in and troubleshoot supported applications on all operating systems that run these products in order to assist Microsoft customers at all skill levels.
•Works reasonably in order to resolve support demand to customer satisfaction; requests consultation, mentoring, escalates to Product Lead CSR when resolution needs more experience/skills on product.
•Works reasonably in order to resolve incoming support incidents to customer satisfaction.
•Performs all processes on the chat/email/phone system – logging in, routing, consulting and closing cases.
•Act in a mature and professional manner towards customers, clients and colleagues.
•Provide telephone support as scheduled and be available to fill in on the telephone for others on your own or other teams to meet goal of providing excellent customer service.
•Use troubleshooting techniques where required to solve customer problems effectively.
•Use database and call logging tools to provide answers to customers’ queries.
•Maintain a high level of technical product knowledge in the specified products and become knowledgeable in new products as assigned.
•Requests consultation and or escalates to Tech Lead when resolution needs more experience/skills on product.

What are the requirements?

•Working knowledge of one or more current Microsoft Operating systems (IE, Windows XP, Windows Server Edition, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, System Centre), or any future releases
•Working knowledge of personal and server computer architecture
•Ability to properly use all Microsoft Tools including MSSolve, VisualKB, KMS, Internet and Intranet resources etc.
•Passion for Technology (curious, has desire to learn, does not rely on past knowledge, stays on top of latest technologies, etc.).
•Degree/Diploma in a Technical discipline or Technical support equivalent work experience.
•Working knowledge of Business line of MS® Applications, such as the Windows Server®, Exchange®, SQL®, SharePoint®, etc. families.
•Working knowledge of one or more current Microsoft Operating systems (Windows NT Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP,Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server Edition), or any future releases
•Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
•May be required to work unconventional hours or shifts, weekends, holidays, 2nd shift, or early mornings.
