The purpose of Software Team Manager role is to assemble and retain high-performing team that enables efficient deliveries and robust application support. The role has full line management responsibilities and ensures that effective delivery practices are applied and followed, compliant with all policies and following industry and company best practices.

Job Description
· Takes an active role and is accountable for the selection, onboarding, development, management and performance of the team members to ensure optimal capacity, skills and performance
· Supports team members through coaching and mentoring to meet their targets and growth.
· Supports team knowledge sharing and ensures that there are no knowledge gaps or key-person dependencies
· Establishes and cultivates strong relationships with markets, partner organizations and areas of the business outside of their own
· Leads and empowers Leads and sub-teams to achieve the project, department, technology and product line goals and objectives
· Delivers technical solutions through internal and external team members
· Creates, customizes and improves policies, methodologies and processes following the best company and industry practices to ensure optimal delivery performance
· Ensures that all team members consistently meet their project commitments and performing their tasks within pre-agreed time and with high quality
· Actively drives and takes responsibility for projects, streams or initiatives, often hands on in nature, in case of emergency or exceptional situations and after approval by Practice Director
· Makes sure that all deliveries are well documented and appropriate knowledge transfer is performed as part of service transition
· Participates in escalation calls and supports fastest resolution and high customer satisfaction
· Ensures that markets are well supported, and team members are pro-actively working for minimizing critical issues and escalations.
· Supports culture where internal and external clients are in the center and strives for their high satisfaction

· 5+ years of experience in delivery of technical projects
· 3+ years of experience as Team Lead
· Experience with managing of a medium or large team
· Excellent leadership skills
· Excellent understanding of the development lifecycle and methodologies
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
· Very good stakeholder management skills
· Good project management skills
· Good risk management skills
