Head of Laboratory

We are looking for a Head of Laboratory.

Tasks:

Lead the Laboratory team: recruitment, onboarding, personal development, etc;
Ensures laboratory efficiency and effectiveness by setting adequate organization and procedures;
Ensures integrity of measurements done in the laboratory;
Defines the laboratory needs (resources and equipment);
Coordinates general lab organization activities and manages outsourced activities;
Checks and harmonizes the consistency of test procedures with other corporate laboratories;
Manages internal tests and measurements at the laboratory according to ISO 17025: type test, characterization, product validation, transfer validation, test report writing;
Certifies the conformity of products and their evolutions according to the specifications and standard measuring methods;
Develop test methods and skills to satisfy internal and external customers;
Drives actions to support Continuous Improvement Programs;
Prepares reports for the Laboratory performances on a regular basis;


The profile:

University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar;
5y+ of experience in Laboratory coordination and people management;
Good knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9000, and IATF, (IRIS ISO/TS 22163 is a significant advantage);
Good understanding of electrical measuring methods, electrical and electronic equipment design;
Excellent planning and organization skills;
Problem-solving, communication, and team development abilities;
Curiosity and awareness of new technologies;
Proficiency in the English language and MS Office;
