Due to the growth of our global activities and the development of our processes, we are now looking for a:

Team Leader Supply Chain Analytics

The primary role of the Team Leader Supply Chain Analytics is to provide guidance to the team of Solution Managers, Supply Chain Analyst(s) and Logistic Planning Data Expert(s) and to act as a mentor and disciplinary leader to the team members. He / she manages projects within the LHT group. The teams’ main tasks are to analyze, optimize and continuously improve the logistics network – from simple point-to-point connections to complex hub structures.

As the team’s leader, your tasks will include:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team-members on routine and non-routine tasks and develop their skills in analysis, problem solving, coordination and workload management;
• Elaborate on and design sophisticated business analytics in order to manage performance, derive fields for improvement and discover development potential;
• Analyze a wide range of parameters with business intelligence and data science methods – performance and cost indicators, customer and operational feedback – to assess the effectiveness of logistics solutions and explore innovative, data-driven approaches for their continued improvement;
• Optimize warehousing and transportation processes via LEAN methods and together with experts, and develop and implement integrated logistics solutions;
• Consult customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa, create offers and service agreements and guide their progress on performance, cost and improvement potential in their logistics network.

To be successful in the role you need:

• Leadership experience including relevant social competences;
• University degree in economics / logistics / engineering or computer science;
• Job experience in project management, lean management, business intelligence or data science;
• Affinity for data and IT systems, good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Power BI, Tableau);
• Good understanding of modern Supply Chain processes is an advantage;
• Excellent command of English, German is an advantage;
• High degree of problem solving, negotiation and prioritization skills;
• Resilience towards professional pressure and willingness to work flexible hours;
• Assertiveness, persuasiveness and ability to deal with conflicts;
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis;
• Courteousness, adaptivity to a multi-cultural environment, commitment to team results.
