Due to the expansion of the organization, we are looking for a highly responsible and experienced professional to take the position of a:


SENIOR ESG EXPERT at Environmental Social Governance Department


You will participate in the development of specific ESG targets, deadlines, and KPIs in cooperation with the relevant units as well as:

- Follow closely the release of new and amended regulatory requirements in the ESG area by EU and national authorities and assist in the implementation of measures to ensure compliance;
- Assist in the preparation of the company's ESG reporting;
- Participate in the development and execution of training and initiatives to increase staff awareness of ESG-related topics;
- Work with external consultants on ESG issues;
- Support the Head of the ESG Department in the day-to-day functioning of the unit;
- Stay up-to-date on ESG principles and best practices through conducting research, continuing education, attending conferences, etc.


Essential requirements for the role:

- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in the field of Finance and Banking, Law, Ecology, or other environmental/technical field;
- Previous professional experience in taking similar positions such as Sustainability/ESG Expert;
- Basic understanding and willingness to develop proficiency in the technical aspects of GHG emissions measurement and reporting;
- Understanding of the relevant global, EU, and local ESG/sustainability frameworks, laws, regulations and standards;
- Fluent English – both written and spoken (at least B2 level);
- Practical experience with MS Office applications - Word/Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint;
- Excellent analytical and very good interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.


We'll consider as strong advantages if you have:

- Familiarity with GHG emissions measurement and reporting standards;
- Experience with ISO standards;
- Professional certification(s) in ESG, ISO, Risk Management, auditing, or project management.
