Job Description

The Service and Billing EMEA Team have to ensure all billing requirements are met for each client. They are also responsible for processing contracts and raising the relevant invoices, along with any account amendments and credit notes. They have monthly deadlines that they work hard as a team to achieve, whilst providing a high level of service to all our internal and external clients.

What you’ll be doing?

· Reviewing and assessing customer contracts to apply relevant billing schedule
· Creating customer accounts in the billing systems
· Working with the relevant billing systems to apply the billing schedules and raise invoices/credit notes
· Updating the billing schedule according to contract terms
· Investigate and correct billing errors if any
· Perform monthly invoice reconciliation against billing schedules
· Investigate billing queries
· Lead and contribute to regular billing review sessions
· Proactively arrange or lead meetings with internal stakeholders or clients if needed to define billing processes for new contracts or renewals
· Act as a billing expert with the assigned market(s) and provide necessary guidance and advice where needed
· Prepare monthly or ad-hoc billing reports to aid business decision making
· Checking documentation is complete, quality checking credit notes and manual invoices that have been keyed and approving them in the system
· Investigating and fixing the root cause of credit notes;
· Loading invoicing files into the system, checking these and working through any exceptions;
· Actioning account amendments to pricing, customer name/address/branch whilst always ensuring relevant documentation is available;
· Analysing and interpreting requirements to ensure correct actions are met;
· Adhering to internal and external audit requirements;
· Identifying process or system improvements;
· Updating process documentation as required;
· Providing high level training to new or less experienced colleagues;
· Support team members in resolving queries;
· Process Improvement Focus – update process map, identify process gaps;
· Proactive at Month End, support others in better prioritization.


What you’ll bring

· 1+ year of related experience;
· Relevant higher education degree;
· Fluency in written and spoken English;
· Proficiency in Spanish
· Able to work on own initiative and prioritise daily workload accordingly;
· Able to work under pressure;
· Accurate processing of information;
· Strong ability to work with large volumes of data and present complex information in a clear, logical, and concise way;
· Good attention to detail;
· Manage own workload;
· Flexibility around busy periods at month end;
· Team player;
· Proven Experience with ERP Systems
