Position Title: Commercial Contract Analyst
The purpose of the Commercial Contract Analyst is to work in the Commercial Management function to support commercial contracting with B2B clients, helping drafting contracts and set up commercial and contractual processes and embed them within the organisation. Providing contract construction, contract negotiation, contract management and contract analytics services to the UK business. Working closely with commercial management, legal, sales, product and pricing teams to ensure software and services are contracted accurately with minimum risk. Participating in digital transformation initiatives to improve the contract lifecycle management.

What you’ll be doing?
Supporting business contractual needs by drafting contracts in line with client requirements;
Working closely with Sales and Consultancy;
Ensuring contracts are unambiguous to enable clear fulfilment of all obligations;
Providing commercial guidance and education to the rest of the business on our contractual processes;
Creating deliverables and responsibilities matrices reflecting the commercial obligations within the contract, following contract signature;
Scheduling of deal financial performance, risk and win/loss review;
Supporting contract change process working with the busines;
Participating in the internal initiatives to optimise contractual terms and contract templates, including in digital transformation projects to automate the generation of contracts;
Coordinating the drafting of contractual terms in new and existing contract templates;
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness.

What you’ll bring?
Commercial/legal contract management experience of around 3 years;
Knowledge and understanding of contractual matters for the processing of data, provision of software and consulting services;
Operational experience of assessing and deploying approaches to manage risks arising from contractual terms, delivery obligations and service obligations.
Experience in assessing contractual risks and drafting appropriate clauses to mitigate risks and implement controls;
Knowledge of software delivery and managed IT services;
Operational understanding of legal terms and conditions;
Excellent stakeholder management;
Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess complex contractual requirements;
High level of accuracy and attention to details;
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
Confident and adaptable team player;
Microsoft Office including Word and Excel ability – Advanced.
