Position Title: Junior Contract Specialist
We’re currently looking for Junior Contract Specialist – part of the Commercial Management team, which provides commercial management services to the UK B2B business in order to assist in profitably reaching its financial targets with an acceptable level of commercial and contractual risk.
The Commercial Management team is responsible for supporting the business from a contractual perspective by supporting, and where required leading, the negotiation and conclusion of commercial contracts with our customers. The team is supported by the Legal, Compliance, Strategic Pricing and Finance teams to ensure that the wider commercial considerations are taken into account when structuring, negotiating and concluding deals.

What you’ll be doing?
Ensuring that each commercial sales transaction is contracted on terms;
Working closely with Sales and Consultancy to understand the client requirements and ensure these are appropriately reflected within the contracts;
Drafting and constructing contracts, contract schedules and variation agreements in line with deal requirements and business contractual needs;
Reviewing interim commercial cover and work at risk requests where required;
Ensuring correct maintenance of contractual records and documentation;
Performing other appropriate tasks as required by the Commercial Contracts Manager and/or Senior Commercial Manager.

What you’ll bring?
Around a year experience with drafting contracts;
Legal degree qualification;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
Ability to read and understand contracts;
Confident and adaptable team player;
Ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize workload;
Very good attention to detail;
Self-driven, proactively looks for continuous improvement in processes and self;
Microsoft Office including Word and Excel ability
