AS A PART OF OUR GENERAL ACCOUNTING TEAM
As a senior key member of our General Accounting Team, you’ll take ownership of managing the company’s general ledger, CAPEX accounting processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.
You’ll work in a collaborative, friendly environment alongside colleagues from diverse countries within the Coca-Cola HBC Group, where knowledge-sharing and continuous learning are at the core of what we do. OUR NEW TEAM MEMBER NEEDS TO HAVE:
5+ years of Accounting Experience, preferably in fast-moving, multinational environments, with exposure to GL and CAPEX accounting
Educational Foundation: Degree in Accounting or related field
ERP Expertise: SAP experience (preferably S/4HANA) is a strong advantage
Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and process optimization
Fluency in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Results-Driven Mindset: High level of accuracy, ownership, and ability to meet tight deadlines
A Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to independently identify issues and drive resolutions
Mentorship mindset: Ability to support junior team members and share knowledge
YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU COULD ENSURE:
Accruals & Provisions: Ensure timely and accurate calculation and posting
Account Reconciliation: Own end-to-end reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies
Period-End Closings: Lead and coordinate closing activities and reporting
Balance Sheet Analysis: Deliver detailed analysis with clear root cause insights
CAPEX Accounting: Manage the cycle – capitalization, disposals, impairments, depreciation, and asset movements
Tax Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting
Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and SOX controls
Process Ownership & Improvement: Drive improvements, especially in ERP/SAP environment and ongoing implementations
Knowledge Sharing: Support onboarding and development of team members

Working model – Hybrid (2 days per week from the office for Sofia-based candidates, and fully remote for outside of Sofia candidates)
