Climate and Environmental Risk Management Expert, Sofia

General duties:
Develop and maintain the Bank’s ESG risk management framework with a focus on novel climate and environmental risks;
Design and implement methodologies for climate and environmental risk assessments, scenario analysis and stress testing;
Utilize data, statistical analysis or modelling techniques to evaluate climate and environmental risks; generate data-driven insights to assess impacts and inform risk mitigation strategies;
Manage evolving ESG data requirements and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure ESG data quality and integrity and implement strategic solutions;
Develop various presentations, reports, and disclosures for internal and external purposes;
Contribute to ESG strategy setting and periodic review by monitoring key risk indicators, analyzing trends and proposing actions;

Requirements:
Knowledge of financial services risk management; knowledge of Sustainability, ESG, climate and environment concepts; prior work experience in these fields is a plus;
Experience in data analysis and modelling, preferably in a risk management context;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Effective communication skills, including ability to present complex data and information in a clear and understandable manner;
Flexibility and motivation to work in a rapidly evolving area;
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must;
Minimum a bachelor’s degree in a related field;
