On behalf of our client, a leading provider of operational leasing and fleet management, we are looking for an experienced and responsible professional for the position of Chief Accountant.

Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for monthly closing – monthly reports to the headquarter (Balance sheet, PL, internal reports);
• Reconciliation of the accounts on a monthly basis in order to assure the data presented in the reports is correct;
• Communication with internal, external and tax auditors;
• Spread and follow the tasks among the team in order to assure timely fulfillment and preparation (responsible for 4 – 5 accountants);
• Support the CFO in the preparation of the Budget;
• Submitting and reconciling the VAT declarations on a monthly basis;
• Prepare of the Annual tax declaration, reports to Nations Statistic Institute – monthly and yearly, Financial Statement;
• Prepare ad-hoc reports;
• Identify and manage the risk within the scope of his/her activities;
• Perform other specific tasks assigned by his/her direct Manager related to the Department activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree in in Finance / Accounting;
• Minimum 3 years of experience on a similar role in international environment;
• Very good knowledge and understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards;
• Ability and experience working and implementing ERP Systems;
• Leadership style, ability to lead team effectively;
• Strong analytical thinking, time planning and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent attention for details;
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills;
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office;
• Excellent communication and personal skills;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
