Our partner is a leading international company in the renewable energy and thermal power sector represented in more than 20 countries on four continents. For their global finance team based in Sofia, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious finance professional to join as:

Global Finance Business Partner

Role objective:

We are looking for a hands-on person with FP&A background to act as an intermediary between Finance and the Corporate functions. Their main responsibilities would be to prepare the spend analysis around actuals, budget and costs forecasts of those functions.

In addition, this function works closely with Accounting to provide clear information around the spend.

The role also supports Finance transformation initiatives around reporting automation and increased use of reporting tools, working closely with the Systems team.

Main responsibilities:

Analyze actual spend of the corporate functions, including operating expenses and capital expenditures
Develop reporting that tracks functional spend as compared to budget and provides insights to past and forecasted spend
Support automation initiatives by working on and taking ownership of automated dashboards used by Finance and other functions
Support head of FP&A and Functional leads with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Work with corporate functions to prepare budgets
Interact with vendors to ensure invoices are received on time and that accounting has correct information to accrue expected costs

Qualifications and skills needed:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years experience in Finance, Controlling, Business Partnering with focus on FP&A
Strong analytical skills required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, Microsoft Power BI an advantage
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Intellectually curious and motivated by continuous improvement

Travel Requirements - upon business needs, mainly in the EU
