Our client is an ambitious fast growing Danish Retail company with a solid financial background that values dedicated hard work. They offer to their customers a wide range of goods at competitive prices, including all kinds of articles for bedroom, bathroom, living room, window and patio.

We are looking for an established professionals for the position of Chief Accountant for their head office in Bozhurishte, Sofia.

Manage, organize and control the overall financial and accounting activities of the company;
Accurate calculation of taxes (e.g. VAT, CIT, property taxes) and timely settlements with the tax office;
Manage the daily bases tasks and control the deadlines in order to achieve the company goals;
Develop and implement accounting and administrative procedures following group procedures as well as local legislation;
Participates in the process of recruiting new team members, as well as is responsible for their motivation, training and development;
Ensure the preparation and submitting in an accurate and timely manner of all local financial, non-financial, statistical, and tax reports;
Communicate with external parties such as banks, auditors, tax authorities, and suppliers.

3 + years previous working experience in the position of Chief Accountant ;
Experience in people management will be considered an advantage;
Experience at full annual reporting preparation (accounting and tax);
Knowledge of local reporting standards and tax code;
Fluent English, both written and spoken;
Good Microsoft Office skills;
Experience with SAP is considered an advantage;
Excellent communication and time management skills.
