Financial Crimes Analyst

Your Role:

As a Financial Crimes Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the company, its clients, and financial markets from illicit activities such as market abuse (insider trading, market manipulation), money laundering, terrorist financing, and external fraud. Your focus will be on monitoring transactions, detecting suspicious behavior, and continuously improving financial crime detection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Detecting, investigating, and reporting unusual or suspicious transactions related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud.
Identifying and escalating potential cases of market abuse.
Contributing to the enhancement of financial crime detection monitoring systems.
Responding to inquiries and requests regarding suspicious trading activities.
Ensuring compliance with financial crime regulations and internal policies.
Reporting findings to team leads and other stakeholders.
Keeping up to date with financial crime regulations and participating in relevant training.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the same or similar position.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and capable of working under pressure.
Proficiency in English.
Knowledge of Excel, VBA, and preferably SQL.
