GL Accountant /Shared Service Center/ - София

We are looking for our client – a world leader in trade of agricultural goods - for a competent and motivated professional to join their team on the position of:

GL ACCOUNTANT /SHARED SERVICE CENTER/

Among the responsibilities will be:
• Coordinate all accounting activities associated with bank transactions, fixed as-sets, inventory, trade receivables/payables, factoring, employee/tax payables, as well as other accounting activities associated with client specific business transac-tions;
• Prepare and process manual journals in order to ensure the General ledger is reflec-tive of all relevant transactions for inclusion in the P&L account and Balance sheet in the reporting period;
• Preparation of trial balance. Preparation of Profit and Loss report;
• Finance reporting according to the IFRS;
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly VAT/Intrastat reports according client’s re-quirements;
Requirements:
• Education in the field of Accountancy and Finance;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience on an accounting position;
• Experience/knowledge in IFRS;
• Fluency in English;
• Excellent numerical skills;
• Communicative team-player with strong organizational skills;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, accuracy and attention to details.
