Position Title: Commercial Contract Repository Associate

Working within our UK Commercial Management team, supporting the analysis of contracts and processes through Experian’s Contract Repository and Analytics platform – Seal. The team works closely with the UK business, Global Automation and Seal teams to identify and design process optimization opportunities and enable powerful reporting and analysis to be generated from Seal and other billing and sales systems. This role helps to ensure that contract analytics, retrieval and reporting processes are established and followed, and that Experian’s contracts are captured and indexed as per current requirements and processes, all of which is vital information for Experian in terms of understanding and managing contractual and revenue risk.

Review and analyse large volumes of contractual documents to establish and capture different elements such as appropriate retention period as per GDPR, liability position, payment terms, etc.
Understand and work with established contract repository software to interrogate large numbers of contracts;
Work with key stakeholders to ensure that the correct action is undertaken regarding capturing, analysis and retention of contractual documentation;
Assist with and contribute to the creation of MI reporting from Seal and other systems
Where required, assist with the analysis based on reporting from various systems/platforms to identify gaps in processes and ways to improve existing ones
Index contracts in accordance to the requirements set out by the business and as per internal processes
Assist in the creation of process documents and training materials on Seal
Maintain accurate naming conventions as laid out in organisational policies;
Input data that is accurate and easily accessible to all relevant parties;
Respond to contract retrieval and analysis queries within the specified SLA;
Provide advice and guidance across the business about working with the contract repository and analytics platform and using it to retrieve & analyse information
Escalate complex queries and cases as appropriate;
Highlight any system malfunctions to the necessary support team for further investigation and corrective actions.
Assist and perform other tasks as required by the Commercial Contracts Manager and Contracts Analytics Lead

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
Ability to read and understand a contract;
Ability to interpret a contract in order to capture and extract required information from it and draw correct conclusions
Confident and adaptable team player;
Logical thinker with excellent attention to detail;
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;
Able to work under minimum supervision;
Able to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines;
Excellent people and communication skills at all levels;
Proactively looks for continuous improvement in processes and self;
Microsoft Office including Word and Excel ability – working level.
Previous experience of working with contracting software and systems is considered beneficial
Previous exposure to contracts and experience with contracts analysis is considered beneficial
