GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST WITH RUSSIAN | STAY AT HOME RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Position summary
The Communications Specialist will write and build communications for a variety of channels to reach key audiences and deliver against defined communications objectives. In this role, you’ll work closely with your communication partners to create compelling content. As part of the global communications function, you will operate as a business partner for Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business in EMEA and Cargill’s ocean transportation business, which operates globally. You’ll be a strong writer and storyteller who uses AP Style. You’ll follow established procedures, but have an opportunity to continuously improve future communications. You’ll be familiar with the latest communication trends and be strong in producing content for large audiences. In this position, you’ll compile results to demonstrate progress toward measurable objectives.

Major Tasks
Receive instruction, guidance and direction from more senior-level roles.
Create content for multiple communications and manage campaigns or projects for various stakeholders such as customers and employees. Tasks include:
organize and prepare content online and offline channels such as internal town hall meetings, cargill.com, sales materials etc.
prepare key messages for press releases, external speaking opportunities etc.
contribute to company reports such as Ocean Transportation’s annual sustainability report
Help to manage strategic partnership communications
Develop an awareness of industry news and help respond to issues
Implement tactics within a communications plan based on Cargill strategies
Developing business acumen to understand the company and its customers.
Interact with peers in other global communications groups and share best practices.
Deliver quality assignments on time.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, minimum 2 years experience
Excellent presentation, public speaking and written communication skills
Previous experience creating communications for a medium or large company (more than 500 em-ployees)
Excellent English level
Very good Russian/Ukrainian language
Conceptual knowledge of fundamental communications theories, principles and practices
Understanding of and experience in using AP Style
Ability understand information and ideas as presented.
Ability to communicate complex information in easily understood language.
Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Experience with purpose-driven brands and sustainability storytelling is a strong plus
Ability to develop formal communications in a global setting across diverse markets and macroeco-nomic/geopolitical circumstances.
