Position Summary

This role is part of the Functions A&F team responsible for providing financial planning and analysis for multiple functions. It will be directly involved in the global value measurement process and preparation of key metrics for Cargill Transportation & Logistics (CTL) and Cargill Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (CSSP). These metrics are the key performance indicators of the value the functions provide to Cargill, and represent a critical deliverable to functional leadership.
The position reports to the CTL & CSSP Value Measurement Supervisor.

Principal Accountabilities

Collaborate with function sourcing leads in all regions on completion and approval of Savings Benefit Summary templates, providing process and content guidance supporting them in understanding savings calculation methods, requirements as well as solving ad-hoc issues.
Maintain value capture templates for CTL and CSSP in line with business requirements across the Regions, with focus on continuous improvement and alignment of the regions, identifying and working to eliminate unnecessary exceptions.
Extracting data for value measurement metrics and reports, analyzing trends and challenging regional sourcing leads for correctness of the base input.
Communicate with the regional CTL and CSSP leads to support them in having the key metrics for their performance and decision-making processes.
Maintain value tracker global database, including data entry, clean-up, consolidation, and preparation of reports, queries, pivot tables, and charts.
Distribution of scorecards to CSSP/CTL management as well as Business management in the regions, supplying additional details and further analysis and support when and where required.
Suggest process improvement opportunities and bring consistency and efficiency to the regional and global value measurement process.
Support the supervisor and or the regional sourcing leads with ad hoc special analytics and projects as required.


Minimum Required Qualifications

BA or BS degree and 3+ years of Accounting, Finance or Business-related experience.
Experience in the development of financial and management reporting
General knowledge of database structure and high comfort level with working with large amounts of data
Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining excel spreadsheets for analysis and reporting
Demonstrated success working and influencing effectively in a team environment, across organizational boundaries and through virtual teams.
Strong analytical / problem solving skills
Results orientation, “can do” attitude, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation and relationship building skills.
Proven ability to interact with all levels of a global organization.
Experience in leading change to achieve desired results.
