Job Summary
The Finance Data and Technology organization is a centralized group within the Finance Transformation Office (FTO) and is a key enabler of the One Finance strategy. To activate our Cargill Finance vision, we recognize the need for clear ownership and development of our data, digital and technology assets.

We are seeking a Finance Technology Enablement Lead for Tax and Global Trade Compliance. This role will drive deployments of strategic projects on target technology solutions that advance Finance process strategies and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Measures of success include completion of project objectives on-time, within budget, and with quality to achieve the business value capture. The Finance Technology Enablement Lead for Tax and Global Trade Compliance will actively collaborate and drive desired business outcomes with key stakeholders including the Global Process organization, Finance Operations, Global IT and our third-party partners. This role will provide direction to managers, professionals and indirect staff that will analyze business problems to be solved with automated systems. In this role, you will lead, advise and make decisions to help our team apply Tax and Global Trade Compliance expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures that are fit for purpose, cost-effective and meet user requirements.

Major Tasks:
Oversee general workforce administration policies and programs.
Deliver expected outcomes for Finance strategic projects focused on Tax and Global Trade Compliance priorities in close partnership with the Global Process Org, Finance Operations, the Tax and Customs COE, Global IT, software vendors, and other partners to drive higher levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead and monitor the use of existing solution versions ensuring team is driving, advocating and guiding the use of existing solutions.
Approve and assess more complex business model design plans for development.
Act as tactical leader throughout a moderate subset of the organization to ensure the deployed processes and systems support the business.
Integrate complex areas, including data, education and security across a moderate subset of the organization.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience deploying SAP with responsibility for enabling Finance or Tax and Global Trade Compliance processes for a global company
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of Tax and Global Trade Compliance business processes gained from roles within these corporate functions or via consulting roles
Experience deploying Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Longview, Deloitte ITC, or other market leading Tax software solutions used by global corporations
Experience deploying SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) or other market leading global trade compliance software solutions used by global corporations
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated learning agility
Three years of supervisory experience
