Key Responsibilities:
Organizing and maintaining timely and accurate financial close and accounts reconciliation.
Cost Accounting/Controlling; Inventory Accounting; Bank & IHB; Fixed Assets & Depreciation; Accruals, Deferred Income & other Reserves
Being responsible for the completeness, accuracy and proper presentation of financial reports that are prepared on behalf of the local markets in line with the month-end calendar and external reporting deadline requirements and supported with the complete, valid and proper documentation.
Performing and reviewing all journal entries in line with expected accuracy, quality and timelines.
Performing and reviewing all balance sheet reconciliations in line with Financial Accounting Policies & Procedures.
Executing accounting activities that meet or exceed the GBS key performance indicators and support the continuous improvement culture.
Providing guidance and support to GL accountants within the respective team.
Establishing key relationship at all levels of the organization and providing excellent customer service to all areas of the business.
Cooperating with all kinds of audit (Internal & external audit including Balance Sheet Reviews, Tax, etc.)
Providing Extended Finance Support to Local Management Team.
Identifying, evaluating and resolving complex operational issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 3 years of professional experience acquired in relevant accounting or finance roles, preferably at multinational companies
Solid knowledge of accounting and reporting standards (IFRS and US GAAP)
Experienced user of MS applications and ERP system
Proficiency in English
Good analytical, organizational and communication skills
Highly motivated and pro-active individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
