Lufthansa Technik Sofia performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737 including B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

Our department Material Flow Management (MFM) provides logistic services for the airplane maintenance and component supply for the entire LHT Group and its customers. Amongst others, this includes designing processes and implementation of process optimizations for established customers.

In MFM process improvement team we offer you the chance to experience the aviation sector and its logistic business as part of an international and young team, working on conceptual projects and support of the day-to-day operations.

Your daily tasks and projects may include the following:

- Support team leaders and process engineers in enhancing the efficiency of our logistic processes, analyzing requests as well as working out and realizing needs-oriented solutions
- Support project managers in planning and scheduling of project tasks
- Support the system implementation of the new flow management software of the company with related tasks
- Prepare and analyze team performance reports and analyses
- Coordination with our global facilities and teams
- Visual reporting with Microsoft Applications
- Assist and support for the department in meeting our goals

Your profile:

- Advanced students in (business) engineering, economic sciences or business informatics with a focus on logistics and Supply Chain
- Enrolled during the whole period of internship or recently graduated
- Profound user know-how MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), readiness to understand VBA.
- Strong interest in digitalization and automatization
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in English required, German and Bulgarian are a plus
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, independence and self-organization
- Excellent analytical, creative and administrative skills as well as team orientation
