Job Description

Being part of a high-performing and collaborative team, The Strategic Programmes Consultant’s job is to ensure the required operational excellence consultancy and coordination support is provided to the functional areas across the business in EMEA APAC region, along with contributing to the Business Strategy functional needs for driving engagement and strategic initiatives execution. This position is key for the cross functional interactions, innovation, and effective communication across all areas, enabling them to achieve business objectives as per strategic vision and targets.

The role is involved with and drives the implementation of prioritized set of critical business initiatives and facilitates the continuous improvement culture in all we do. The Consultant will also ensure all actions comply with established performance standards, KPIs, process involvement requirements, risk management, and strategic principles as well. In other occasions, the role will also be responsible for providing supporting services on behalf of the Business Strategy organization and offering strategic analysis, recommendations, and inputs on end-to-end business decision-making.

The role’s responsibilities also include evaluation of existing processes, analysis of implemented changes and suggestions for future adjustments to interactions, routines, and systems usage eliminating waste as needed, while collaborating with senior stakeholders to qualify the opportunities and identify the right path forward. This is a person who is results-driven, process excellence-focused, technologically savvy, risk-anticipator, passionate about innovation, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships in a global and highly matrixed environment.

Your responsibilities would include:

· Value creation : Responsible for ensuring the successful value creation and organisational excellence by leading, directing, and co-ordinating priority projects the EMEA APAC region
· Gets involved in projects across the end-to-end lifecycle to design, gather requirements, execute and roll out the solution
· Customer focused consultative approach and impact assessment of any upcoming change
· Process analysis and design : Evaluates existing business processes, runs design thinking workshops and outlines potential areas for improvements
· Identifies and develops working relationships with representatives across all functional levels and ensures they are all informed about the ongoing activities, impact, and progress state
· Advises process owners on proper best practices adoption and effective process integration where applicable
· Performance monitoring : Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely Performance Data Insights by Implementing and reinforcing best practise reporting standards
· Responsible for analysing performance data to identify and develop key improvement initiatives to drive measurable improvements, liaising closely with the functional leaders
· Performs periodic productivity and cost benefit analyses to provoke brainstorming and decision making
· Project and Change Management : Supports and reinforces the dominant goals of the organisational units while facilitating their actual realisation through strategic projects implementation
· Proactively anticipates and communicates status, milestones, risks, issues, and key findings
· Partner and enable the functional areas to define, own and follow their transformation agenda initiatives
· Continuous Improvement Champion : Is a point of contact for improvement initiatives and their scope management across all functional areas
· Drives a culture of customer focus, operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, ownership of processes and operational metrics and continuous improvement, formulating guidelines which promote ownership and collaboration
· Assists with removing barriers and escalations when necessary
· Promotes the Communities of Practice approach and knowledge sharing and facilitates this concept in any interaction or project implementation
· Collaborates with other regional and global productivity leads and practitioners to drive adoption of standards and leverage new findings and ways of working


What you are expected to bring:

· University graduate in Business Administration/ Information Services
· 3+ years of experience in an Operational Excellence focused role or related role type in similar industry and complex business environment
· Management / Business Consulting experience is a plus
· Relevant certification in process improvement methodologies is highly desirable
· Proficiency in English – both verbally and in writing
· Strong background in MS Office 365 Suite and other corporate tools like Service Now, Salesforce, Oracle Suite etc.
· Strong reporting capabilities and expertise with BI and statistical reporting tools (Power BI or Tableau, Minitab)
· Experience with Agile processes and SCRUM teams
· Ability to understand the business needs and make sound recommendations for the coordination aspect of key initiatives and asks
· Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
· Problem solving, root cause identification and analytical skills
· Business process mapping and experience with priorities definition
· Project and change management practices and experience
· Tooling roadmap ownership and new systems deployment
· Engaging and interactive presentation skills
· Building relationship skills at multiple stakeholder levels
· Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to diagnose and address issues of product, process and technical nature
· Data insights and critical thinking capabilities
