Job Purpose and Impact
The Global Mobility Operations Specialist will assist expatriates with international assignments by coordinating and handling tax equalization, visa coordination, benefits coordination, housing and compensation packages. In this role, you will assist the organization by performing a range of straightforward assignments, using prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.

* This position offers one year contract.

Key Accountabilities
Communicate, implement and maintain all human resources aspects of international assignments, policies, procedures and payroll.
Administer policy and short or long term international assignments, including immigration services.
Administer policies and regulations to ensure accurate payment of all expatriate allowances as well as special items such as moving expenses.
Maintain assignment changes with Global Mobility database and update compensation pay packages appropriately
Understand vendor role in Global Mobility processes and continuously assess to ensure most effective partnership based on Global Mobility objectives
Research home and host country tax regulations to ensure compliance.
Coordinate administrative tasks to ensure compliance with government regulations associated with expatriates.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (finance, accounting, payroll, law are preferred)
Minimum of two years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Fluent in English – written & verbal
Proven analytical skills and ability to create and interpret data and reports; Acumen for numbers
Ability to communicate effectively and with empathy to a wide range of people across multiple regions and cultures
Demonstrated attention to detail; strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to be flexible in a changing and ambiguous environment; Ability to interface effectively within a global team environment
Strong personal initiative and ability to explore and work with limited supervision
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
Proficient with desktop software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
