Lufthansa Technik is the world’s leading provider for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components and engines with more than 50 years’ experience in helping the world’s leading airlines deliver top-quality products at competitive rates.

Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance network. It performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737 including B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008. In connection with development of our processes and company and network growth we are now looking Business Controller:

Main Responsibilities:
Preparation of standard controlling reporting
Working on and trough the budget process, maintaining updated forecasting
Development, calculation, analysis and interpretations of key financial indicators and key performance indicators
Preparation and presentation of various analyses
Preparing variety of presentations and analysis to support the management needs of the Company and the Division as whole
Active participation in the evaluation of possible investment projects and reorganization programs of the Division and the Company
Analysis of synergies between different units, initiate benchmarks, derive and suggest measures to the management
Supporting the management of the Division and the Company by recommendations, proposal and analytical information
Working with the CO and FI-module of SAP
Support the design and implementation of the Company’s SAP system for the
controlling tasks
Supporting the annual reporting process
Supporting other locations and working through the Division
Working successfully in a matrix structure organization - staying in close touch with and
maintaining very good working relationship with the colleagues and management of the
headquarter and the other maintenance facilities within the Network

Requirements:
At least 3 years job experience and/or experience beside the study with internships
University degree in field of Finance or significant relevant job experience
Additional financial or accounting related degrees or qualifications are desirable (MBA, CFA, ACMA and/or ACCA)
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and tasks with high complexity within short time limits
Very good knowledge in MS Office; good SAP skills (FI/CO-module) desirable
Excellent communication skills and presentation skill in front of management
Excellent analytical skills and ability to simplify key items from a complex environment
Team spirit
Flexibility and Availability to travel abroad
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
