Cloud Architect - Sofia

General duties:
Own the cloud baseline and target architecture with technical engagement and be ultimately responsible that the technical designs match the project needs and business goals.
Be industry and market expert in cloud and hybrid cloud solutions, develops and drives large, multiple, and highly complex cloud solutions for targeted/assigned business domains.
Propose and/or design technical target solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept while maintaining a cloud mindset.
Evaluates technologies against established requirements and validates the implementation of the technology stack in the cloud.
Influence architectural and technical decisions with focus on security, scalability, cost, high-performance and future development of the technology stack.
Collaborate with development team members to ensure scalability, resilience, security, and availability of the application and software products.
Create and implement cloud practices and policies, build HIPAA, PCI-DSS and SOC2 compliant cloud environments.
Develop cloud high-level technical operating strategies, solutions, and benefits.
Be part of a wide spectrum of projects
Develops project documentation containing standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of architecture patterns, frameworks, and best practices
Background and knowledge of design, implement and managing common Azure services (Virtual Machine, Database, Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Defender, etc.)
Experience in a Technical or Enterprise Architecture role in various projects with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud involvement
Working knowledge of SOA, microservices, RESTful APIs, messaging/pub-sub, and data integration solutions
Overall IT infrastructure understanding in Networking, Authentication, Authorization, Security and compliance, Experience with hosted data center environments.
Experience in DevOps and DevSecOps tools and methodologies
Basic knowledge and experience in RDBMS
Knowledge of infrastructure as code approach and tools
Good knowledge of Docker containers
Ability and desire to quickly ramp up on new concepts and technologies.
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical topics to multiple audiences.
Fluent English both written and verbal
