Health and Safety Specialist

We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Introducing new technical equipment, work procedures, and working substances;
Distribution of Personal Protective Equipment;
Design of working places, working procedures, working environments, and other matters in the field of ergonomics;
Ensure that facilities and working equipment are properly checked in terms of occupational safety, especially before bringing them into service;
Support the responsible managers and senior directors to create work instructions for their respective areas of responsibility, control the regular training of the employees, and report shortcomings to the Managing Director;
Perform Health and Safety instructions for new employees;
Ensure all legal state requirements and documents regarding health and safety are in place and up-to-date;
Support Fire Safety and protective measures and instructions are in place;
Ensure regulatory requirements and implementation of environmental policy (waste management, etc.)

Professional Requirements:

University degree in HSE, quality, engineering, or relevant;
Appropriate work experience in health and safety is an advantage;
Bulgarian labor legislation regarding health and safety;
Knowledge of Environmental regulations is an advantage;
Good computer skills MS-Office;
Good spoken and written English;
