As our trusted partner, we are looking to appoint: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Main responsibilities:

Supports the Accounting team in solving complex accounting and tax issues;
Posts documents to GL, accounting and financial/management reporting;
Tax reporting and compliance tasks (prepare, verify and file tax returns under VATA and CITA and as required);
Financial closing-prepares annual financial report and CIT return;
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records;
Assists with financial audits by providing supporting records and documentation;
Handles and manages tax audits and procedures, tax disputes and controversy;
Active communication with Bulgarian and foreign clients.

Main requirements:

University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
Thorough accounting and tax legislation knowledge (local accounting standards, IFRS, direct/indirect taxation);
English - full working proficiency -written and verbal;
3+ years of experience as an accountant;
Interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments and deliver within deadlines;
Strong team player.
