Risk & Fraud Analyst – Online Casino & Sports Operations

Our client is is a licensed online casino focused on delivering a secure, responsible and high-quality player experience. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Risk & Fraud Specialist to join our operations team and help protect the business from fraud, abuse and suspicious activity across customer accounts, payments and gameplay.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring player activity, identifying fraud and bonus abuse patterns, reviewing suspicious transactions and customer behavior, and working closely with Payments, Verification, Customer Support and CRM teams to ensure a safe and controlled operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor customer activity, transactions, and betting patterns to detect potential fraud, bonus abuse, or suspicious behavior.
• Analyze sports betting for arbitrage, professional betting, or other malicious practices.
• Use risk monitoring tools, databases, and BI software to collect and analyze operational data.
• Report incidents, anomalies, and potential losses to the Risk Management Manager.
• Support the development and improvement of fraud prevention procedures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular reports and actionable recommendations to enhance risk control processes.
• Collaborate with Online Operations, Finance, KYC/AML, CRM, and Customer Operations teams to prevent abuse.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies when handling sensitive information.
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience in Risk, Fraud, Payments, KYC, AML, Compliance or operational control is considered a strong advantage.
• Experience in online gaming, betting, fintech, payment services or e-commerce will be considered a major plus.
• Good understanding of fraud patterns, payment abuse, account verification risks and suspicious customer behavior.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and investigative mindset.
• Ability to assess cases objectively, make sound decisions and escalate when needed.
• Good computer literacy and ability to work with multiple systems, reports and internal tools.
• Experience with CRM, back-office, payment or fraud monitoring systems is an advantage.
• Very good command of Bulgarian and working level of English.
• High level of discretion, responsibility and integrity when handling sensitive customer and transactional information.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
