Position Title: Analytics Consultant

We're currently looking for an Analytics Consultant to join one of our Analytics Center of Expertise teams focused on rolling out Trusso, our cutting-edge ML based transaction categorization engine, across EMEA region.

Directly influences wide or high impact decisions and initiatives and can articulate the value that data delivers
Recognizes and advises long term effects of data related projects to ensure feasibility for resolving business challenges.
Generating revenue through data while building and developing a data product commercialization culture, forming data governance through new policies & standards and overseeing data product and organizational data assets portfolio

Technical Speak. Can have meaningful conversations with data engineers, analytical engineers, data scientists, and data modelers about specific features of the data, specific technical client requests, specifics of analytics output. Does not need to be able to do the technical work but needs to be able to speak to it and understand what is being done to the data
Data Interpretation & Visualization Fluency in interpreting charts, graphs, and tables. Can translate numerical and graphical results into commercial recommendations. Aptitude for distinguishing good and bad visualizations of data. Understands different types of visual presentation of information and the right use cases for each.

Any of the following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:

Competitive Landscape. Deep understanding of the business, including the history, the marketplace, competitive landscape (including the landscape of data providers) and the drivers of success. Capability of presenting both high profile business/data successes and failures

Statistical and Analytical Measurement. Strong grasp of foundational concepts and methodologies in survey & experiment design, sampling methods, exploratory data analysis, summary statistics, inference, and hypothesis testing. Familiarity with probability and sampling biases.

Data Governance. Building best in class analytics solutions and data by improving the quality and value of data to meet regulatory commitments, enhance risk management and drive Experian's growth agenda. Operating at the leading edge of data privacy and security with an understanding of the interconnectivity and legal implications between data and customers.
