R&D Print Packaging Specialist

We are looking for a R&D Print Packaging Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities:

Provides technical expertise in the design, printing, and quality control of printed packaging.
Operational responsibilities for execution and tracking the process of receiving and testing new packaging materials.
Participates with expertise in working meetings with the Marketing Department, all authors of new designs, and pre-press file executors.
Presents and communicates with suppliers new files and their implementation in print.
Working on a regular base for optimizing the quality, technology, and the cost of printing and auxiliary materials.
Research and development of alternative printing and packaging materials, depending on the new trends in the market and company needs.
Knowledge in detail of the characteristics and properties of the used materials during the production of flexible packages, raw materials.
Knowledge and comparative analysis of major competing product packaging.
Prepress of packaging and print materials.
Responsible for the sizes, requisite data, and colors, mandatory for the package.
Checking if the printing files are correct, delivered by advertising and design agencies, and in case of another agreement, prepare the files for printing.
Prepares color proofs of the printing files.
Attends during the first print of the new packages and current packages in case of new deliverers.

Requirements:

Driver’s licens;e
Responsibility for the quality of the working tasks and keeping deadlines;
Self-initiative and a detail-oriented team player;
Desire for learning and developing knowledge in different areas;
Ability to self-prioritizing and organize current tasks;
